Doug serves as co-chair of Taft's Employment and Labor Relations practice group. He has assisted clients in the private and public sectors with a broad range of employment matters, including issues arising out of the American With Disabilities Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and other federal and state statutes. In addition, Doug represents public and private employers in labor matters arising out of the National Labor Relations Act, the Railway Labor Act, and Ohio’s collective bargaining statute. He provides clients with comprehensive labor relations guidance regarding grievances, arbitrations, collective bargaining, and unfair labor practice charges.
Doug received his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame and his law degree from The College of William and Mary. He is honored by Ohio Supers Lawyers as a Rising Star in 2005 - 2007, 2009 – 2012. Active in the local community, Doug serves as the Chair of the Board of Governors for Leadership Dayton, and serves on the Boards of Directors for the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Better Business Bureau of Dayton/Miami Valley.
