Summary

Doug serves as co-chair of Taft’s national Employment and Labor Relations practice group. He assists clients in the private and public sectors with a broad range of traditional labor and employment matters and serves in an outside general counsel role for many of his clients, guiding them on general business and transactional matters. On a regular basis, Doug counsels clients with respect to all aspects of the National Labor Relations Act, the Railway Labor Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and other federal and state statutes. Along with Taft’s other labor lawyers, he provides clients with comprehensive state and federal labor relations guidance regarding elections, grievances, arbitrations, collective bargaining, and unfair labor practice charges.

Doug received his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame and his law degree from The College of William and Mary. Active in the local community, Doug serves on the Board of Directors for the Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce.
