Summary

Kelsey is a partner in Taft’s Litigation practice group. She focuses her practice on business and complex commercial disputes. She has experience in a wide range of litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, class-action defense, UCC issues, and intellectual property matters. Kelsey assists clients throughout all stages of the litigation process, from drafting pleadings through dispositive motions, discovery, settlement, and trial. She is licensed to practice in Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Prior to joining Taft, Kelsey was an associate with a Philadelphia firm and clerked for two years for the Honorable William C. Carpenter, Jr. in the Superior Court of Delaware, where she worked extensively on sophisticated disputes in the Court’s Complex Commercial Litigation Division.

Kelsey earned her J.D. from Villanova University School of Law, where she served as Managing Editor of Research and Writing for the Villanova Law Review, and was presented with the Dr. Arthur Clement Pulling Award for Extraordinary Service to the publication. Kelsey was also the recipient of Villanova’s Faculty Recognition Award and Dorothy Day Award for Pro Bono Service. Kelsey received a B.A., magna cum laude, from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.
