Summary

Christina is a partner in the firm’s Real Estate practice group. She works with real estate developers, owners and operators on projects of all types and asset classes throughout the U.S. She is especially known for her counsel regarding commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions, development, financing, and tax-free exchanges. She also has experience with public-private partnership (P3s) matters.

Christina has particular depth representing industrial developers and owners in the development and financing of new projects, as well as handling the acquisition, financing and disposition of existing projects. Her clients, including one of the largest U.S. industrial owners and developers, trust her to handle all aspects of their transactions, including the negotiation, preparation and review of purchase and sale agreements, reciprocal agreements, related loan documentation, municipal incentives and tax advantageous structuring. In addition, Christina also routinely handles the structuring and closing of many other types of commercial real estate transactions, including raw land, medical properties, office buildings, residential subdivisions, resort properties, multifamily developments and retail centers.

Prior to joining Taft, Christina practiced regulatory real estate, assisting developer clients with compliance issues under the Federal Interstate Land Sales Full Disclosure Act and the Out-of-State Land Sales laws of various states.

  • Represented a regional vertically integrated multifamily developer and operator in the refinance of a 13-property multi-state portfolio across the Southeast.
  • Represented a regional developer in its mixed-use project in Roswell, Georgia, featuring commercial space and multifamily housing. The project also includes an adaptive reuse of the city’s former police headquarters.
  • Represented a leading industrial developer in the refinance of an 8-property industrial, 1.2 million square foot portfolio in Greenville, South Carolina.
