Known for her collaborative approach, Emily values building strong relationships with management and HR teams. She works closely with employers to understand their companies’ unique culture, develop long-term relationships, and guide them through complex employment issues.

Emily is a seasoned labor and employment attorney with more than two decades of experience representing clients ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. She advises both private and public sector organizations on a wide spectrum of employment law matters, including compliance with Title VII, the FMLA, ADA ADEA, and FLSA.  She also has extensive experience conducting investigations and advising clients concerning discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wrongful discharge claims, as well as wage and hour, unfair competition, trade secrets, and restrictive covenants disputes.

In addition to her extensive employment advice practice, Emily brings significant litigation experience to the table. She is deposition and trial certified by the National Institute for Trial Advocacy and has first chaired arbitrations, bench trials, and jury trials, and has argued appeals before the Arizona Court of Appeals and 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

A trusted resource for her clients, Emily offers a perspective shaped by her work in both private practice and government service. For more than eight years, she practiced at the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, where she provided counsel on all aspects of employment law. During her tenure, she led the Land Use & Transactional and Government Advice Practice groups and later moving to Assistant Division Chief, overseeing the entire Civil Division. She leverages this leadership background when helping employers manage risk, adapt to change, and implement strategic solutions.

Emily doesn’t just advise, she partners with clients, becoming a reliable extension of their team and navigating them through complex employment issues.
