Summary

Carolina advises clients on a broad range of commercial real estate transactions nationwide and internationally. Her practice includes drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leases, financing documents, construction contracts, operating agreements, and partnership agreements; conducting transactional due diligence; reviewing title and survey materials; and delivering real estate legal opinions.

Before joining private practice, Carolina served as in-house counsel to a real estate developer, advising on corporate matters, real estate development, and commercial real estate transactions. In that role, she worked closely with senior management and counsel on development matters involving federal and local governments, bond issuers, lenders, and equity investors; managed and directed outside counsel; attended out-of-state closings; and developed practical solutions to mitigate risk and support legal compliance.

Carolina is a licensed attorney in Bolivia and fluent in Spanish.
