Summary
Blair is an associate in Taft’s litigation practice group based in Colorado Springs, where she focuses her practice on complex construction and commercial litigation for clients across the Rocky Mountain region. She brings significant experience managing high-value disputes, representing clients in federal and state courts, arbitration, and mediation. She regularly leads matters involving commercial contracts, construction claims, and business torts.
Her perspective as a trusted advisor is shaped by her military background, combined with several years of defense contracting experience. She serves as outside general counsel to two mid-sized organizations, and partners with them to proactively identify, assess, and manage risk as the organizations scale and innovate. She also works with clients related to the quickly evolving nuclear power industry, assisting investors and emerging companies.
Blair served with distinction as a naval nuclear engineer and surface warfare officer (a.k.a. ship driver) in the United States Navy. At the U.S. Naval Academy, she rowed for the Varsity Women’s Crew team and led as the Brigade Executive Officer. After law school, she earned her master’s in engineering management from Old Dominion University.
She currently serves on the board of the Colorado Springs Chamber and Economic Development Corporation and Government Affairs Council, and is an active member of several professional bar associations.
In her off time, Blair plays competitive tennis. She also enjoys diving for lobster/spearfishing in Florida and all things that involve a pair of skis in the winter.
