Taft, one of the fastest-growing law firms in the nation, welcomes Kelsey Holmberg, Matthew Mahoney, and Patrick Manning to the firm’s Cleveland office.

The additions reflect Taft’s continued investment in its corporate, litigation, and real estate practices and commitment to growth in the Cleveland market.

Kelsey Holmberg joins as an associate, formerly with Hahn Loeser. She focuses her practice on corporate governance and securities. She has experience in conducting due diligence for multiple transactional deals including asset acquisitions, special purpose acquisition companies, and stock purchases. She works on a wide variety of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, financings, commercial contracts, entity formation, and restructuring.

Matthew Mahoney joins as an associate, having most recently served as a judicial law clerk for the Hon. Bridget Meehan Brennan in the N.D. of Ohio. Prior to his clerkship, he was a litigation associate with Jones Day. His experience includes various stages of pretrial litigation, such as fact investigation, discovery, and trial preparation. He has also represented clients in criminal investigations by the U.S. Department of Justice.

Patrick Manning joins as an associate, formerly with Benesch. He focuses his practice on commercial real estate matters, with a particular emphasis on leasing across various asset classes. With experience in both the law firm context and in-house for a national commercial retail developer, Manning excels at negotiating and drafting leases and related agreements and counseling his clients on a wide range of issues.
