Five Firm Attorneys Are Board Certified by the Florida State Bar
Five of the firm’s partners are board certified, the highest honor of competency and experience in the state of Florida.
Board certification recognizes attorneys’ special knowledge, skills and proficiency in various areas of law and professionalism and ethics in practice. Board certified lawyers are evaluated for professionalism and tested for expertise. Only 7 percent of eligible Florida Bar members are board certified.

Farach is a partner in Taft’s West Palm Beach office, bringing decades of experience representing businesses, financial institutions, developers, and individuals in high-stakes trial and appellate litigation as well as complex real estate transactions.
Fitzgerald is a partner in Taft’s Commercial Litigation practice in West Palm Beach. He
focuses his practice on commercial litigation, civil appeals, business torts, and breaches of contract.
Rose concentrates his practice on the litigation of business disputes at the trial and appellate court levels. He helps clients navigate complex civil and commercial litigation, including contract and business disputes; real estate matters; partnership and corporation disputes; class actions; securities litigation; bankruptcy and creditors’ rights; and probate litigation.
Thomas represents clients in complex construction litigation, construction claims counseling, and contract and business disputes, with a particular focus on owner representation. He has extensive experience negotiating contracts for major public and private construction projects and is recognized for his experience in construction defect and claims litigation.
Weiss is a partner in Taft’s Commercial Litigation practice and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. He focuses his practice on trial or arbitration of business, intellectual property, and construction matters. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.
