Summary

Tom is a member of the Real Estate practice group in Taft’s Minneapolis office. Tom has established a versatile practice, representing clients in transactions related to the acquisition, disposition, leasing, development, and financing of real property of a wide variety of asset types, including multi-family, student housing, industrial, office, mixed-use, and agricultural.

On the finance side of his practice, Tom assists borrowers and lenders with the real estate related elements of commercial loan. Focusing on the business side of his practice, Tom assists clients with transactional business matters including business entity formation, and stock and asset acquisitions and dispositions.

Prior to joining Taft, Tom was an associate at a full-service Minneapolis law firm, where he worked in the Banking, Business, and Real Estate practice groups.

Tom earned his J.D. from the Mitchell Hamline School of Law and his bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in legal studies in business from the University of St. Thomas.
