Tom is experienced in litigation and financial services, having started his career at the Office of Thrift Supervision working on regulatory enforcement actions. What distinguishes Tom’s background is his time at the Federal Judicial Center and Capitol Hill under Speaker O’Neill. Throughout his career, Tom has represented clients under investigation by law enforcement agencies and financial regulators. He has coordinated defense efforts, managing teams of former law enforcement professionals and forensic experts in financial crimes cases. Notable matters include goodwill accounting cases, broker-dealer investigations and money laundering cases. His work with the American Association of Port Authorities led to currently advising two ports on the Ohio and Mississippi rivers.
