Thomas Capretta

Tom is a member of the Real Estate Group in Taft’s Washington D.C. office. He focuses his practice on a broad variety of commercial real estate transactions, representing institutional and private investors in the acquisition, financing, development, leasing, management, and sale of real estate assets.

Prior to joining Taft, Tom gained real estate experience at a boutique law firm in northern Virginia and a title company in Washington, D.C. Tom earned his J.D. from the College of William & Mary Law School and his bachelor’s degree in mathematics, cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame. Prior to law school, Tom served as an infantry officer in the U.S. Army.
