Summary

Shelby advises clients on matters dealing with compliance with state and federal employment laws. She represents employers in federal and state courts and administrative agency proceedings and has experience drafting employment policies and executive compensation agreements.

Prior to joining the firm, Shelby worked as a law clerk for GE Aerospace, researching state and federal labor laws and preparing summary memoranda describing material regulations for potential litigation.

Shelby earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Dayton School of Law where she served as Public Relations and Media Editor of the University of Dayton Law Review. She holds a bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, in business administration from The Ohio State University.
