Regina D. Brooks Smith

Regina is Senior Discovery Counsel in Taft’s eDiscovery & Litigation Service group and leads the firm’s eDiscovery operations. She manages the strategic direction and delivery of eDiscovery services across the firm, including leading and developing a multidisciplinary team of attorneys, project managers, analysts, and technical professionals.

Regina works closely with firm leadership and litigation teams to develop efficient, consistent, and cost-effective discovery practices. She oversees the technology, resources, and operational processes supporting the firm’s eDiscovery services, and advises attorneys and clients on complex discovery matters, including preservation, collection, processing, document review, production, and discovery-related motion practice.

Before joining Taft, Regina practiced law at an Am Law 100 firm and held project management roles with eDiscovery service providers. Her experience provides a comprehensive understanding of the legal, technical, and operational aspects of electronic discovery.
