Summary
Meredith is an associate in Taft’s Employment and Labor Relations group. Her practice focuses on counseling and representing employers with respect to various employment matters, including hiring and separation concerns, restrictive covenants, internal investigations, policy and procedure reviews and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Meredith also negotiates and drafts employment-related contracts, including employment agreements, restrictive covenants agreements and separation agreements.
In addition, Meredith helps corporate clients by providing labor and employment expertise related to business openings and closings, mergers and acquisitions (buy- and sell-side), and other business transactions.
Meredith’s practice also includes representing employers in lawsuits and administrative proceedings under Title VII, Section 1981, the FLSA, and other federal and state anti-discrimination and employment laws.
Meredith earned her J.D. from the University of Georgia and her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina.
