May represents owners, developers, operators, and investors in all aspects of commercial real estate, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, joint ventures, leasing, restructuring, and workouts. She advises clients in the negotiation and drafting phase of a variety of real estate transactional matters and guides clients through due diligence and financing, as well as in evaluating, analyzing, and negotiating the terms of proposed real estate-related investments.

May has helped clients in acquisition and development deals involving senior housing, manufactured housing, self-storage, office, retail, and mixed-use assets. Her experience extends to assisting clients in the acquisition of multi-state portfolios of manufactured housing communities, as well as portfolio acquisition of senior housing facilities and investment properties. May has also represented clients in transactions involving the disposition and acquisition of several Detroit landmark properties.
