Summary

Matthew concentrates his practice on probate and trust litigation, as well as trust and estate administration and guardianship. He advises and represents individual beneficiaries, heirs, fiduciaries, and corporate fiduciaries in a broad range of probate, guardianship, and trust matters, including will and trust contests, removal actions involving trustees and personal representatives, accounting disputes, reformation and modification proceedings, and elective share cases. His experience includes matters involving allegations of undue influence and lack of capacity, as well as complex trust administration issues, tax interpretation, and trust decantings. Matthew also brings prior experience in commercial and employment litigation, which informs his strategic and litigation-focused approach.

Matthew is actively involved in several legal organizations, including as the 19th Judicial Circuit’s at Large Member for the Florida Bar’s RPPTL Section, chair of the Martin County Bar Association’s Wills, Trusts & Estates Committee, and the Florida Bar’s Trial Lawyers Section. He holds a Master of Laws degree in Estate Planning from the University of Miami School of Law.
