Matthew Wolf

Matt is a partner in the firm’s Real Estate practice group. He assists clients principally in the areas of:

• Commercial purchase and sale transactions
• Leasing
• Real estate development 
• Real estate finance 
• Zoning and land use
• Wind and solar farm acquisition and development

Matt is experienced in a variety of real property transactions, including leasing, sales, acquisitions, construction and real estate finance. He also provides real estate counsel to other Taft practice groups, including those whose work involves corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, real estate lending and land use regulation.

Matt’s prior experience as a licensed contractor allows him hands-on familiarity with nearly every phase of a real estate project. In addition, he has experience in executive roles gained from a real estate management and development firm, as well as a real estate brokerage. Matt maintains his real estate broker license in order to provide his clients with additional insight. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a real estate attorney at the headquarters of an international law firm.
