Summary

As a partner in Taft’s Public Finance Group, Matt serves as bond counsel, disclosure counsel, and underwriter’s counsel on financings and provides specific expertise in tender transactions, and the financing and operation of public transportation systems. He regularly advises government entities and developers on public-private partnerships for infrastructure projects, including infrastructure investment and project delivery methods, the integration of sustainability solutions in projects, and the applicability of various economic development tools.

Matt has significant experience with outcome-based financing models and has worked closely with the State Treasurer of Ohio in creating and implementing the ResultsOHIO Program.

In 2018, Matt earned a Fintech Programme Certification from the University of Oxford Saïd Business School.

Prior to joining Taft, Matt was the Co-Chair of the P3/Infrastructure practice group at a national law firm.
