Summary
Mary Claire counsels and represents employers with respect to various matters, including hiring and separation concerns, restrictive covenants, internal investigations, policy and procedure reviews, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. She also negotiates and drafts employment-related contracts, including employment agreements, restrictive covenants agreements, and separation agreements.
In addition, Mary Claire provides legal counsel regarding labor and employment issues related to business openings and closings, mergers and acquisitions (buy- and sell-side), and other business transactions.
Mary Claire represents employers in lawsuits and administrative proceedings under Title VII, Section 1981, the FLSA, and other federal and state anti-discrimination and employment laws. She has experience in complex litigation and assists employers with investigations by government agencies.
