Maria Tellez

Maria is an eDiscovery attorney in Taft’s Atlanta office with a background in law, technology, and project management — with deep knowledge of eDiscovery platforms, metadata management, and document review strategy. She is skilled in advising litigation teams on defensible preservation, ESI protocols, proportionality, analytics workflows, and review strategy, while architecting scalable workflows, optimizing processes, managing vendors, and guiding attorneys through cost-efficient, defensible discovery approaches. Her experience leading numerous eDiscovery and forensic matters across all phases of the litigation lifecycle, ensuring defensible preservation, efficient review workflows, and timely productions, adds to Taft’s robust eDiscovery team.

Maria earned her J.D. from Georgia State University College of Law and her bachelor’s degree, cum laude, in broadcast journalism from the University of South Carolina. While in law school, Maria clerked for the Hon. Craig L. Schwall, Fulton County Superior Court.
