Justin defends clients in complex litigation involving toxic torts, environmental disputes, and products liability. Justin brings significant expertise in managing high-stakes matters, from cases that have the potential for severe appellate consequences to cases that seek billion-dollar environmental remediation. Justin has experience managing teams that defend claims related to lead pigments and risk-contribution liability in Wisconsin, as well as cases involving PFCs (perfluorochemicals) and PFAS (per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances) in Georgia. Justin leads discovery efforts, drafts motions, performs nuanced research, argues in court, and advises clients on litigation strategy. Justin takes pride in developing novel approaches to effectively tackle his clients’ legal issues and achieve their desired outcome.

Prior to joining Taft, Justin represented clients in cases ranging from environmental nuisances to breach of contract. He represented manufacturers, banks, insurers, health information management companies, and even local private schools. Justin’s legal foundation includes a clerkship with a Maryland state trial court judge, where he assisted with over 40 jury trials spanning criminal and business disputes. Justin earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Richmond with accolades for excellence in intellectual property and served as an editor of the University of Richmond Law Review.
