Summary

Joe is a partner in Taft’s business group and assists clients with mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, SEC compliance, commercial contracts and general corporate matters. Joe represents companies, investors and bankers across multiple industries, including life sciences/medical devices, SaaS technology, and manufacturing and distribution.

Joe routinely represents both strategic and private equity clients on buy-and sell-side transactions with values ranging from less than $1.0 million to over $500 million. Joe also represents issuers and underwriters on initial public offerings (IPOs), shelf registrations, follow-on offerings, private investments in public equity (PIPEs), at-the-market (ATM) offerings, ongoing ’34 Act compliance, and other securities matters. In addition, Joe represents issuers and venture capital funds in private placements, including SAFE investments, convertible note rounds, seed financings, and subsequent financing rounds.
