John Carpenter is an experienced intellectual property lawyer specializing in patent law, with a focus on mechanical and software innovations. With over 19 years in patent preparation, prosecution, and IP litigation support, John has a deep technical background supported by more than 12 years of experience in mechanical engineering and project management. He has a broad portfolio that includes automotive technologies, medical devices, consumer products, sports equipment, industrial machinery, software, and more.

John’s professional journey includes a significant tenure at a leading international law firm’s Denver office. He holds a J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, an M.B.A. from Regis University, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Texas A&M University.
