John T. Cagigas

John is an attorney in Taft’s Real Estate practice. He focuses his practice on all aspects of commercial real estate, representing real estate investment funds (REITs), institutional landlords, tenants, developers and property managers in the acquisition, disposition, financing, leasing and management of retail, multi-family, office, commercial, and industrial projects.

• Represented owner in sale of a $133 million mixed-use development in Charleston, SC.
• Represented sponsor in acquisition and financing of a $125 million multifamily development consisting of 336 units in Durham, NC.
• Represented sponsor in acquisition and financing of a $120 million multifamily development consisting of 415 units in Chandler, AZ.
• Represented owner in sale of a $114 million student housing apartment complex in Atlanta, GA.
