Summary

Jamie is a corporate attorney in Taft’s Cleveland office. His practice primarily focuses on advising private equity sponsors and private companies in mergers, acquisitions, divestures, leveraged buyouts, carve-out transactions, cross-border transactions, corporate restructurings, and other complex business transactions. He additionally counsels private equity funds’ portfolio companies and private companies on corporate governance, general business law, and commercial matters.

Jamie is also experienced with advising investment fund sponsors and management teams on a variety of fund matters, including fund formation, governance, and regulatory compliance.

Prior to joining Taft, Jamie was an associate with a well-known regional law firm, where his practice focused on corporate matters, including securities, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and cannabis law.

Jamie earned his J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and earned bachelor’s degrees in finance and political science from the State University of New York at Fredonia.
