Jada M. Colon

Summary

Jada is an associate in Taft’s Litigation practice group and represents clients in a range of complex matters including commercial and contract disputes, consumer financial services litigation, product liability litigation, construction litigation, and intellectual property litigation disputes involving patents, trademarks, or copyrights.

Prior to joining Taft, Jada was an associate with a national law firm in Cincinnati and represented corporations in disputes arising from the sale of goods for product design and manufacturing, employment-related torts, injuries to persons and property, and premises liability.

Jada earned her J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and her B.S. in communications and political science from Ohio University. During law school, she served as a contributing member of the Intellectual Property and Computer Law Journal, where she published an article discussing the Defend Trade Secret Act’s extraterritorial reach.
