Summary
Jackson is an associate in Taft’s Chicago office. He focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions and a broad range of commercial transactions and agreements, advising clients in diverse industries, including technology, healthcare, manufacturing, and financial services. With a keen understanding of complex deal structures and a practical, business-oriented approach, Jackson counsels buyers and sellers through all stages of the transaction lifecycle—from initial structuring and due diligence to negotiation and post-closing integration.
Jackson earned his J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law and his bachelor’s degree in law and public policy from Indiana University Bloomington. While in law school, Jackson competed on the trial team at MSU and was the head coach for the undergraduate mock trial program. He gained valuable legal experience as a summer associate for Taft.
