Summary

Evan is an associate focused on construction and commercial litigation in Taft’s West Palm Beach office. He has experience reviewing Owner-Contractor and Subcontractor Agreements for large construction projects and analyzing subcontractor financials for bonding and subcontractor default insurance qualifications on new projects.

While earning his J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, Evan served on the Florida Entertainment and Sports Law Review and worked as an intern for Chief Judge Edwin Scales, III, Florida Third District Court of Appeals. He conducted in-depth legal research regarding Florida long arm statute, appellate criminal review, and constructive notice for insurance claims and drafted memoranda on complex issues regarding insurance defense claims, Florida Appellate Procedure, and criminal appeals. He also worked for one of the largest General Contractors in Florida in the legal department during law school.

Evan holds a bachelor’s degree, cum laude, in construction management from the University of Florida.
