Evan L. McMahan

Evan focuses his practice on commercial litigation, representing businesses and individuals in complex disputes in state and federal courts. He draws on extensive experience in federal litigation and appellate practice, including more than six years serving as a law clerk and staff attorney within the federal judiciary.

Prior to joining the firm, Evan served as a law clerk to the Hon. Charles E. Fleming and the Hon. Thomas M. Parker, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. He previously served as a staff attorney for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, where he prepared memoranda, draft opinions, and draft orders addressing complex civil and procedural matters for consideration by three-judge panels. Evan’s federal court experience provides him with a strong foundation in developing litigation strategies, analyzing complex legal and procedural issues, and advocating for clients throughout all stages of commercial disputes.

Evan earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from the George Mason University Antonin Scalia School of Law where he served as Research Editor for the George Mason Law Review. He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Virginia.
