Elena Acosta

Elena is a paralegal in the firm’s Commercial Real Estate Development and Finance Practice with over 30 years of experience with a focus on commercial real estate. She assists lawyers and clients with hospitality, commercial lending, retail, industrial, multifamily, and various other real estate development and finance transactions, including closing acquisition, development and financing, comprehensive title, and survey and zoning matters. She also manages and drafts closing documents.

Prior to joining the firm, Elena was a Senior Commercial Title Officer at First American Title Insurance Company and a commercial real estate paralegal at Carlton Fields PA for 10 years. Elena was also a commercial real estate paralegal at Akerman LLP in Miami, Florida, where she assisted lawyers and clients in all facets of commercial real estate for 25 years.

Elena earned her certificate in paralegal studies at Florida International University. Elena is fluent in English and Spanish.
