Edward Bateson

Edward is a paralegal in Taft’s Real Estate practice group. He assists with commercial and residential acquisition and sales transactions, commercial loans and other real estate financing transactions.

With a focus on real estate legal matters, Edward’s experience includes closing documents preparation, due diligence review, title commitment, survey review and resolution and coordinating transaction closings. He has also provided support as a team member on several of Taft’s large condominium deconversion projects in Chicago and its surrounding suburbs.

Edward received his bachelor’s degree from Northeastern Illinois University, Chicago and his paralegal certificate from Roosevelt University, Chicago. He is a member of the Illinois Paralegal Association.
