Summary

Christopher is a seasoned commercial litigator and certified mediator representing businesses and individuals in high-stakes litigation and alternative dispute resolution. Chris regularly represents clients in contract litigation, business/shareholder disputes, lawsuits over enforcement of noncompetition agreements, business torts, and intellectual property cases involving patents, trademarks, copyrights, and mediations.

A significant portion of Chris’s practice is in the health care industry, devoted to representing businesses, physicians, mid-level providers, hospitals, and insurance companies in a wide range of litigation and administrative matters. He has counseled clients in matters involving allegations of medical malpractice, licensing investigations, billing investigations and audits (including RAC and UPIC audits), class actions, ERISA, medical claim payment disputes, Medicare/Medicaid enrollment disputes and appeals, breach of contract litigation, non-compete litigation, medical staff issues, and cases involving allegations of misappropriation of trade secrets, violations of the False Claim Act, violations of Anti-Kickback Statue, violations of Stark law, and wrongful/negligent medical billing.

Chris also has a significant interest in alternative dispute resolution and mediation. In addition to his experience representing clients in mediations and arbitrations arising from complex commercial and health care disputes, he is a certified mediator and has completed advanced training in mediation techniques.
