Carl V. Romano

Carl brings over 30 years of experience to his practice, concentrating on commercial loan transactions, including commercial and industrial (C&I), real estate, construction, and conduit financing. He also advises clients on commercial leasing and the acquisition and development of real estate. He has represented institutional lenders, real estate developers, and other commercial clients, with broad experience in banking, finance, real estate law, and office and retail leasing.

Before entering the legal profession, Carl served for almost a decade in the United States Marine Corps, completing four years of active duty and six years in the reserves, and attaining the rank of Captain.

• Represented institutional lenders in connection with real estate secured, asset-based and corporate lending facilities, including, without limitation, lines of credit (revolving, non-revolving), term facilities, acquisition, development and construction financing and conduit (securitized) transactions.
• Advised national shopping center and mall developers on retail leasing matters across the United States and Puerto Rico, negotiating and drafting leases for properties of varying size and complexity.
• Represented a national medical company in connection with its office and facility leases throughout the U.S.
