Ben Helwig

Ben represents businesses on a range of matters with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions and commercial real estate transactions. He maintains an active buy and sell-side transactional practice focused on middle and lower middle-market companies. Ben serves as outside general counsel to several closely-held and family-owned businesses, and he is a trusted advisor offering strategic day-to-day counsel and support to owners at all stages in the life of their business. Ben also serves as the chair of Taft’s Cincinnati Real Estate practice.

Ben obtained his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Dayton School of Law, and his bachelor’s degree from Miami University.
