Zix Selected to Serve in CMBA Next Generation Fellows Program

Cleveland partner Timothy L. Zix has been invited to serve as a Fellow in the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association (CMBA) Next Generation Fellows Program.

CMBA members who have demonstrated professional excellence, the highest standards of integrity, and a commitment to the advancement of justice in the greater Cleveland community, are invited for consideration for selection to the Next Generation Fellows Program. 

Members of the Next Generation Fellows Program pledge to lift up the youth in the greater Cleveland communities through participation in CMBA’s programs including:

  • The 3Rs: Rights, Responsibilities, and Realities
  • High School Mock Trial Competitions
  • Stephane Tubbs Jones Summer Legal Academy
  • Louis Stokes Scholars Program
  • Minority Clerkship Program
  • Homeless Legal Assistance Program
  • Reach Out Pro Bono for Nonprofits

Zix focuses his practice on workers’ compensation, intentional tort, unemployment, employment discrimination, and general litigation law. He represents employers in state trial and appellate courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, in matters including the Americans with Disabilities Act, Family Medical Leave Act, and general business issues.
