Taft Minnesota Real Estate Attorneys Celebrate Client’s Minnetonka Groundbreaking
Taft attorneys Greg Brenny and Brieanna Maershbecker were pleased to celebrate with their client, United Properties, in the culmination of several months of development planning that resulted in the Aug. 3 groundbreaking of Amira Minnetonka, United Properties’ newest 55-plus active adult rental community and the first to be marketed under the new brand name, Amira.
Taft helped United Properties navigate the development process, including pre-development planning; purchase; analyzing and amending existing complex land use documentation involving several parties; assisting with municipal interactions; and obtaining governmental approvals, all of which led to the groundbreaking for Amira Minnetonka.
Upon completion in 2023, Amira Minnetonka will boast six floors and 186 units, set in a serene environment featuring lifestyle amenities that include a state-of-the-art golf simulator, an outdoor pool and hot tub, community gardens, art and fitness studios, an expansive community room, and a sky lounge.
