Taft Chicago’s Land Use and Public Affairs teams were pleased to host a reception welcoming Chairman Gilbert Villegas following his appointment as Chairman of the City of Chicago Committee on Zoning, Landmarks and Building Standards.

The event brought together leaders from Chicago’s real estate, development, architecture, construction, and public affairs communities for an evening of networking and discussion focused on land use, zoning, and economic development in the City of Chicago.

Chairman Villegas shared remarks on the Committee’s work and its role in supporting an efficient, transparent, and predictable zoning review process as Chicago continues to attract investment and new development.
