Taft acted as legal counsel to Right Lane Industries (RLI) in connection with its acquisition of Capacity Trucks and LayMor from Terex Corporation. The transaction expands RLI’s portfolio of industrial businesses with the addition of two established equipment manufacturers, both of which will continue operating as standalone companies under RLI ownership.

Headquartered in Longview, Texas, Capacity Trucks manufactures terminal tractors used in ports, rail terminals, and distribution centers. LayMor, also based in Longview, designs and manufactures ride-on sweepers for construction, industrial, municipal, and rental customers. RLI is a long-term industrial holding company that specializes in complex transactions, including corporate carve-outs, restructurings, and special situations.
