McNeil Danish and Keshvani to Lead Discussion on Recruiting and Retaining Diverse Talent at ACC Summit
Taft partners Rita McNeil Danish and Payal Keshvani will lead the panel discussion “Recruiting and Retaining Diverse Talent in a Changed World” at the ACC Chicago Summit on Sept. 1. Keshvani will moderate and McNeil Danish will be a panelist, along with in-house counsel, providing insight on retaining a diverse team in a competitive job market and targeting where improvements are needed. McNeil Danish is a leader, advisor, advocate, and catalyst for change, and focuses on infusing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion into Taft’s culture across its offices and in the local communities. With hands-on experience in the public and private sector, she is a trusted counsel in crisis management, government affairs, economic development, and municipal law. As an active member in the community, she contributes her legal knowledge to various causes and diversity and inclusion organizations.
Keshvani represents business clients in a wide variety of areas, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, regulatory matters, and debt and equity issuances. In addition to these matters, she provides pro bono services to the Chicago Architecture Biennial and acts as its Secretary and Outside Counsel. Keshvani serves on the board for Alternatives, Inc., an inclusive, multi-cultural youth development organization that provides a safe space through restorative justice and behavioral health services for thousands of Chicago’s young people and their families.
