Keshvani to Speak on Negotiating Letters of Intent at Smart Business Dealmakers Conference
Taft partner Payal Keshvani will serve as a panelist at the Smart Business Dealmakers Conference “The Evolving M&A Landscape” on Oct. 16 in Chicago. The conference will feature sessions covering a range of topics impacting dealmaking. Keshvani will speak during the session “Mastering the LOI: Front-End Negotiation Tactics for Buy-Side Deals,” where panelists will discuss key strategies for negotiating Letters of Intent, including balancing important terms like price, exclusivity, and deal structure while saving flexibility for later in the process.

Keshvani focuses her practice on general and corporate transactional matters. She represents business clients in a wide variety of areas, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, regulatory matters, secured financing, and debt and equity issuances.
