"Dark Waters" Release Date Announced for November 2019
“Dark Waters”—the film based on Taft partner Rob Bilott and his role in the DuPont chemical pollution litigation in West Virginia—has an announced release date of Nov. 22, 2019. The film will expand into more theaters the following week. With an original movie title of “Dry Run,” “Dark Waters” stars Oscar nominee Mark Ruffalo as Bilott and Oscar winner Anne Hathaway as Bilott’s wife. View the following articles to learn more:

Bilott serves as co-lead counsel for the Plaintiff’s Steering Committee (PSC) in Multi-District Litigation (MDL) against DuPont involving PFOA personal injury claims. He also serves as advisory counsel to the PSC in the MDL involving PFAS in firefighting foam. He has been dubbed by The New York Times Magazine as “The Lawyer Who Became DuPont’s Worst Nightmare” in an article published on Jan. 6, 2016.
