Summary

Will is an attorney in Taft’s Minneapolis office and focuses his practice on all aspects of estate planning, probate administration, and trust administration.

He has experience creating and implementing wealth transfer strategies aimed at achieving clients’ dispositive goals in a tax-efficient manner. Will also has experience developing succession plans for closely-held businesses, advising clients regarding the management of family real estate, and counseling clients in establishing family offices.

Before joining Taft, Will worked as an estate planning associate for a general practice law firm in Maine. Prior to moving to Maine, Will held the same position at an international law firm focused on domestic and international estate planning. Previously, Will clerked for two years for the Hon. Richard Morrison, U.S. Tax Court, Washington, D.C.

Will earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law where he was Digest Editor for the Virginia Journal of International Law. He holds a bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, in international affairs from George Washington University.
