Walter Lanza

Walter is a paralegal in the Detroit office with more than 10 years of experience in matters related to corporate, banking, public finance, real estate, and civil litigation.

Walter drafts and prepares corporate and LLC formation documents, including articles of organization or dissolution, bylaws, operating agreements, and resolutions, as well as annual reports, foreign registrations, and withdrawals. He manages the process of obtaining federal employer identification numbers and other necessary business licenses and permits. Walter prepares Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) financing statements and amendments, tracks filing status, and conducts mergers and acquisitions transactional due diligence, including UCC lien searches, charter documents, certificates of good standing, litigation, and bankruptcy searches.

Additionally, Walter prepares summaries analyzing search results, updates and maintains corporate minute books and trackers, prepares signature page packets, coordinates the execution of closing documents, and performs extensive legal research. Furthermore, Walter has extensive experience with collaborative sites and data rooms.

Walter earned his Paralegal Certificate in Paralegal Studies from Watterson College and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology at Saginaw Valley State University.
