Victoria J. Brenner

Victoria is also committed to improving the practice of family law. She is an active member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (Minnesota Chapter), whose mission is to minimize the negative impact of divorce and separation on parties and their children. This mission mirrors her view and approach to family law.

In addition, she is an adjunct professor of family law at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, and has written and presented numerous CLE courses on divorces involving closely held businesses, spousal maintenance, family law appeals, and attorney ethics.

Prior to joining Taft, Victoria served as managing partner of a full-service law firm in Minnesota.

While in law school, Victoria was a founder of the University of St. Thomas Student Chapter of the Minnesota Justice Foundation. She was also a certified student attorney for the legal department of the Minnesota Indian Women’s Resource Center, where she aided survivors of domestic abuse with their legal needs.

Following law school, Victoria clerked for the Hon. Joseph F. Chase in Olmsted County and for the Hon. Denise D. Reilly in Hennepin County.
