Vanessa Lawson

Vanessa is a paralegal at Taft’s Minneapolis office supporting the Financial Services industry group. She has over 10 years of experience managing governance and compliance across military, nonprofit, and corporate sectors.

Before joining Taft, Vanessa was a corporate paralegal and transactions manager, streamlining corporate governance and regulatory compliance, and supported commercial transactions and residential closings by coordinating due diligence, drafting transaction documents, and handling formations, title work, and UCC filings.

Vanessa earned a bachelor’s in communications from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and a Master of Science in legal studies from Cornell Law School.
