Summary

Tara is a paralegal who supports the business attorneys in Taft’s Minneapolis office. Her work is primarily in mergers and acquisitions, private and public offerings, due diligence, data site creation and maintenance, corporate governance, domestic and foreign entity formation and maintenance, audit requests, Universal Commercial Code and adverse lien filings, searches and securities, regulatory filings, and technical contract review and summary. Tara possesses extensive project management skills and is experienced in sales and marketing.

Tara earned her associates degree in paralegal studies at Inver Hills Community College, where she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa and graduated with high academic honors. At her alma mater, she is a paralegal mentor and serves as a member of the Alumni Board Executive Committee. She is also a Governance Committee member of Wakaŋ Tipi Awaŋyaŋkapi, a Native-led environmental conservation nonprofit. Tara additionally serves as the Minnesota Paralegal Association’s co-chair of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee and Litigation Sectional.
