Summary
Sydney’s practice includes assessing potential environmental liabilities involved in corporate and real estate transactions and allocating associated risks. Sydney also has experience working on matters related to hazardous waste management, wetlands permitting, health and safety, and state and federal environmental enforcement actions.
Sydney received her J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she served as Executive Online Editor of the Georgia Law Review. While attending law school, Sydney competed on the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Team, served as Secretary/Treasurer for the Moot Court Executive Board, and participated in the Interdisciplinary Environmental Law Practicum. Sydney received her bachelor’s degree from Mercer University, where she played on Mercer’s NCAA Division I soccer team.
Before attending law school, Sydney worked as a Public Affairs Specialist with the Georgia Environmental Protection Division.
Sydney served as a law clerk to the Honorable J. Randal Hall of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia before joining the firm.
