Summary

Steven is an associate in Taft’s West Palm Beach office and engages in complex commercial litigation and appellate matters. Prior to joining the firm, Steven conducted in-depth legal research and analysis on sophisticated appellate issues as a clerk for the Hon. Alan O. Forst, Florida Fourth District Court of Appeal.

While in law school, Steven completed a year-long externship with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia, Civil Division where he assisted in defending against claims under the Federal Tort Claims Act, ADA, and Title VII, pursuing schemes under Anti-Kickback Statute, and analyzing civil rights violations.

Steven earned his J.D., with honors, from Emory University School of Law and his bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, in international affairs and political science from the University of Georgia. He served as a Notes and Comments Editor for the Emory International Law Review, a Symposium Editor for the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy, and was Director of Operations for the Emory Law School Supreme Court Advocacy Program.
