Spencer Diamond

Spencer is Of Counsel in Taft’s Product Liability and Mass Torts and Class Action Litigation practices. He maintains a national litigation practice, with a particular emphasis on product liability, mass tort, class action, and other complex and catastrophic litigation. He has extensive experience managing, aggressively working up, and trying mass tort cases against highly skilled opposing counsel in some of the most notoriously difficult trial jurisdictions in the country.

Before joining Taft, Spencer was Counsel at a global AMLaw 100 law firm in Atlanta, where he gained extensive trial experience as a trial team member on more than 20 trials to verdict in tobacco, asbestos, and other product liability cases regularly involving tens of millions of dollars in exposure and punitive damages, including second-chairing or third-chairing six trials. He has handled almost all aspects of trial, including presenting opening statements and closing arguments; conducting direct-examinations and cross-examinations of fact and expert witnesses; and arguing jury charges, directed verdict motions, and cause challenges.
