Summary

Siobhan is a skilled litigator in Taft’s Cleveland office, representing clients across a broad spectrum of commercial litigation. She has particular experience defending against defamation and other tort claims involving the right to free speech.

Prior to joining the firm, Siobhan was a Legal Fellow at the Dr. Frank Stanton First Amendment Clinic at Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where she advised clients on complex First Amendment issues and mentored third-year law students. She also gained valuable experience through two clerkships, serving the Hon. Eric L. Clay, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the Hon. J. Philip Calabrese, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.

During law school, Siobhan was a legal extern for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Idaho, a Notes Editor for the Washington University Law Review, and a summer law clerk for Washington University’s First Amendment Clinic. She earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Washington University School of Law and her bachelor’s degree in history and law from the University of Chicago.
